1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Raising a Reader is so very important and the Library is excited about this new program to help you and your child get on track with reading! We have prizes and incentives too! 

Register your child to participate in the Assumption Parish Library’s 1000 Books before Kindergarten Challenge. Reading Logs can be downloaded from the links at the bottom of the page and printed at home or you can pick them up at any Assumption Parish Library branch. 

Parents can utilize their library card number if their child does not yet have one. Virtual participants without a card can register for one here.

 Download and print out each reading log. When you finish one bring it into any library branch for a prize!
